Japanin opetusministeriön (MEXT) apurahat: Undergraduate Student Scholarship (学部留学生)

Apuraha on tarkoitettu alemman korkeakoulututkinnon (Gakushi) suorittamiseen japanilaisessa yliopistossa yhteiskunnallisten ja humanististen tieteiden tai luonnontieteiden alalla. Apurahan kesto on hakijan tieteenalasta riippuen viisi tai seitsemän vuotta ja se alkaa seuraavan vuoden huhtikuussa. Apurahan saajat valitaan suurlähetystössä järjestettävän kirjallisen kokeen ja haastattelun perusteella. Apuraha kattaa matkat Japaniin, lukukausimaksut sekä kuukausittaisen stipendin, jonka suuruus on noin 117 000 jeniä.
The scholarship is intended for undergraduate studies (Gakushi) at a Japanese university in the fields of "Social Sciences and Humanities" or "Natural Sciences". The scholarship period lasts 5 or 7 years depending on the field of studies and it begins in April in the following year of the application time. The scholarship grantees will be selected by a written academic exam and an interview organized at the Embassy. The scholarship amount covers travel expenses to Japan, tuition fees and a monthly allowance of around 117 000 yens.

Perusvaatimukset / Basic Requirements
- Suomen kansalaisuus / Finnish nationality
- ylioppilastutkinto (tai 12 vuotta koulutusta suoritettuna) / senior high school degree (or 12 years of schooling completed)
- syntynyt aikaisintaan 2.4.2000 tai sen jälkeen / born on or after 2.4.2000
Hakuaika päättyy tiistaina 28.5.2024 klo 16.30 (Huom. Hakupapereiden tulee olla perillä suurlähetystössä tähän aikaan mennessä, eikä myöhästyneitä hakemuksia huomioida. Huomioithan postin nykyiset toimitusajat.)
Kirjalliset kokeet järjestetään 10.6.2024 (ma) ja haastattelut 11.6.2024 (ti). Aikatauluun voi tulla muutoksia.
Hakulomakkeet tulee palauttaa alla olevaan osoitteeseen.
